Going away for a few days, often for the first time. Trips are prepared well in advance, with the young people when they are old enough, and with the families at every step.
For many children and young people in the neighbourhood, a trip is the first time away without their family. That’s no small thing — for them or for their parents. That’s why the preparation matters as much as the trip itself.
The group is formed several months in advance. The young people help choose the destination, plan the budget and take part in fundraising. Families meet before departure to learn about the programme, supervision and practical arrangements.
The preparation lets participants get to know each other before setting off.
Sales, stalls, services: the young people fund part of the trip.
A declared team, regulation staffing ratios, an incident protocol.
Information meeting, team contact details, news during the trip.
Depending on the period, the team organises outings, short trips or travel projects. Dates, age groups, places and prices are confirmed before registration.

It depends on the trip: mini-camps are for the youngest, longer trips for teenagers. The team states the required age when each project is announced.
What you pay is calculated using the family quotient, after deducting the part funded by group fundraising. The exact amount is given before you commit.
The arrangements are explained at the information meeting: the team’s contact details on site, call times and, depending on the trip, photos being posted.
That’s the case for many. Tell the team: the group preparation and the family meeting are there precisely to ease these worries, on both sides.
Yes. A family membership of €8 covers the whole household for the year and gives access to the Centre’s activities.
