Frequently asked questions

Your questions about the calendar

Do I need to be a member to take part in the events?

Yes. The family membership (€8 per household per year) is required for all the Centre’s activities, support services and events, except for a first trial session in an activity of the Adult, Family & Senior Insertion department, which needs no membership. It is free for people receiving the RSA. Some also require registration: this is shown on each card. Coming to ask for information at reception is always free, with no membership or appointment.

How do I register for an activity or an outing?

Registration takes place at the Centre’s reception. To make things easier, you can click an event’s registration button on the website to pre-fill a request, but reception must confirm it before it is final.

How much do the activities and outings cost?

Prices are set so that everyone can take part. Many activities are free. For paid outings, the price depends on your CAF family quotient. Ask our reception team.

How do I add an event to my own calendar?

On each event in the list, click ‘Add to calendar’. You can add it in one click to Google Calendar, Outlook, or your phone’s app using the shortcut.

What if an event is cancelled or I can’t come?

If something comes up, please let reception know as soon as possible so the place can go to another resident. If we have to cancel (weather, unforeseen event), we contact everyone registered directly.
