Accessibility statement
Commitment and compliance status of the Centre Social de l’Hommelet website with accessibility standards.
Commitment to compliance
The Centre Social de l’Hommelet is committed to making its websites, mobile apps and software accessible in line with article 47 of French law no. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005.
To this end, we pay particular attention to the structure of our pages, the readability of our texts, the contrast of our graphic elements and the compatibility of our forms with assistive technologies.
Compliance status
The Centre Social de l’Hommelet website (cshommelet.com) is not compliant with the General Accessibility Improvement Framework (RGAA), because no official compliance audit has been carried out by an independent body.
An RGAA compliance audit by an outside body is planned. This statement will be updated with its results and the list of fixes to make.
Until this audit, here are the good practices we keep to every time the site changes. They do not replace an audit: if any content causes you a problem, let us know.
- Text alternatives: les images qui apportent une information sont décrites par un texte (
alt) ; les images décoratives sont ignorées par les lecteurs d’écran. - Colour contrast: we aim for level AA contrast between text and its background, in both light and dark mode.
- Semantic structure: un seul titre principal (
h1) par page, des niveaux de titres dans l’ordre et des zones repérables (en-tête, navigation, contenu, pied de page) pour guider les lecteurs d’écran. - Keyboard navigation: buttons, links, forms and tabs are designed to be usable with the keyboard, with a visible outline on the active element.
- Accessible forms: each field has a linked label and error messages are announced to screen readers.
Inaccessible content
The detailed list of inaccessible content will be drawn up by the planned audit. Some downloadable documents (PDFs, posters) may not be accessible: contact us to get the content in another form.
The nursery registration file (PDF to fill in) is not tagged for screen readers. Two equivalent options: apply for a place online on the Registration page, or fill in a paper copy with the team at the nursery.
Two pages are available in an “easy to read and understand” version (FALC): the nursery and the Adults, Families & Seniors department.
